Join us Saturday mornings for a variety of Sonoran desert plant hikes to witness and learn about native edible and medicinal plants. We guide along trails and washes in and around the Phoenix basin and surrounding mountains. Bring cameras, water, walking sticks, hats, packs, snacks and pruners. As you know it is always snake season.  We carry a snake bite kit and provide scouting ahead for the group, but keep in mind you’re responsible for your own safety.  Snake boots are nice but not necessary.

Our focus is to show you the plants and their uses for your own DIY herbal medicine. As Vitalist Herbalists, we use the energetics and actions of plants to balance the people by following the vital forces in each.

Our hikes are fun for everyone wanting to learn more about plant identification of edibles and medicinals of the Sonoran desert. We teach herbal medicine along the trail. We also break for snacks and lesson shares

Walk ins ALWAYS WELCOME! Please, no pets.  Email instructions and hike details will be sent upon purchase, so we encourage you to prepare ahead by texting me at the number below if you’re spontaneously wanting to join. Most parks have fees, so come with some cash on hand - generally between $5-$10
